Company Award of Excellence
This award is presented to a company who, during the last year, has demonstrated outstanding creativity in the development of new products and has a strong relationship with agents and their insureds. This company also has a firm commitment to the principles of the American Agency System.

Professional Field Agent of the Year
This award is presented to a company field representative for absolute professionalism and interest. The nominee must be a full-time, salaried employee of an agency company and should have actively served portions of the Indiana area to which he/she was assigned for two full years as an employee of the same company. This award recipient then competes with other state and regional association winners for the Professional Field Representative of America award at PIA National’s annual convention held in the fall

Ralph Cleveland Professional
Agent of the Year

This award is presented to a member agent for dedication and awareness for the industry and takes a professional approach to his/her career. This award recipient then competes with his/her counterparts from other state and regional associations for the Professional Agent of America award at PIA National’s annual convention held in the fall. Award recipients will be recognized at the Annual Business Meeting and Awards Ceremony, held in conjunction with the Annual Convention in May. Winners are notified prior to the event and are encouraged to attend the entire convention. View a list of past award winners.



2008 Oustanding Customer Service Representative of the Year Award
The National Alliance is now accepting nominations for the 2008 Outstanding Customer Service Representative of the Year (OCSRY) award. This award honors the CSR who has demonstrated the highest level of personal and professional achievement during the past 12 months.

Fair Consumer Practices: An Ethical Course of Action            10 a.m. - Noon

This seminar addresses ethical topics you deal with in your day-to-day insurance work. Insurance laws must always be followed, but beyond that, who determines the "right" course of action? Since ethics have no clear guidelines beyond the laws that are imposed on the insurance industry, this seminar addresses how you make these value determinations. Due diligence and fair consumer practices are examined in the context of accepting personal responsibility in selecting and presenting products.
