Columbus, Ohio – Professional Insurance Agents of Indiana Inc. (PIA) elected Larry Mayfield, of Columbus, Indiana, president of its board of directors. Mayfield’s term commenced Jan. 1.

Mayfield, an independent insurance agent with Zeller Insurance Agency, Inc., has been working in the insurance industry for more than 25 years. He represents several insurance companies including Cincinnati Insurance, Auto Owners, Hanover, Hastings Mutual, Central Insurance and Progressive.

Mayfield has served on the board of directors since 2004, and is a member of PIA’s executive committee. Mayfield has also served on the membership committee.

An active member of his community, Mayfield is a member of the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce where he serves as a committee chairman, a member of the Indiana state Chamber of Commerce, South Central Association of Health Underwriters, and is on the board of directors of Sans Souci-local Social Services Agency.
